Three Streams of Historic Christianity
-"A cord of three strands is not easily broken..." -Ecclesiastes
4:12
The CEC began
on June 26, 1992 when The Most Rev. A. Randolph Adler was consecrated a Bishop in Christ's One Holy Catholic and Apostolic
Church. At the time there were three churches that had come together to form the CEC and elect Bishop Adler as our first Archbishop.
Later that year when an article in the November issue of Ministries Today featured St. Michael's Church (our pro-Cathedral)
in San Clemente, California, the CEC was overwhelmed with calls from pastors and churches desiring to join the new communion.
Now reporting 1000 churches with over 750,000 communicant members in 20 countries. (Attendance is much higher than communicant
membership.)
Holy Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church was
birthed on June 2, 1996, (Trinity Sunday) in the living room of Father Mark & Susan Wallace's home. Although our location of worship has changed a few times, Holy Trinity is here
to stay. Currently, Our Lord's Community Church (Reformed Church of America) has graciously allowed us space
and access to participate in many of their activities and ministries.
As a local parish, we are committed to bringing together the streams of the
infallible truth of God's Word, the sacramental / liturgical heritage of the early church and the power of the Holy Spirit
into one catholic expression of the Christian faith.
